My second
teaching practice was on Monday 13rd; It was a very nice experience because
this time I felt comfortable; I didn’t feel nervous. I started doing a warm up
activity called “The invisible board” in which the students participated and
enjoyed a lot.
All my class was going well until the last minutes. We will probably have some problems in which
we have to have a second plan. This is what happened to me, I was developing my
class in a very good way, but some of these students are in a very basic level;
they were speaking all the time in Spanish which was difficult for me because
some of them asked me to explain them in Spanish, so the time was flying, and it
was missing one activity, so I started the activity and the time was not enough
and I had to finish the activity because of the time.
I will try to do things better for my next class, but for now i feel happy for me because i have gained experience which will help me for my future classes.
hello jen, I think in this case the students who were speaking in spanish you should have made them interact with a different person, so that they could interact in English. On the other hand, I could read you enjoyed a lot this time which is good for the environment of the class, good job congrats!
